A red, white and blue welcome

Throughout the past six months we have had the honor of following a local hero on his path to recovery from an injury obtained in Afghanistan. Winston Henley, it has been inspiring to share your stories, progress, and updates. Now that you are home among a very grateful community, Effingham Moves would like to thank you for your service.
Many blessing to you and your family as our prayers continue for your complete recovery.

Fishing holes

Due to the mild winter temperatures the boating season is definitely in full swing this spring. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by the beautiful Ogeechee and Savannah Rivers. My favorite catch is Red Brest and Abercorn creek is my secret spot, with my secret bait “crickets”.
If you are new to the area there are courtesy landings at Abercorn Creek, Ebenezer Creek and Tuckasee King.
Catfish is another local favorite, cut bait works well and they don’t like bright sunlight, so go early in the morning, at night or when it is overcast. Have a “reely” great time 🐟
