Another great stop along the I95 corridor in Coastal Georgia. Spend the day or spend a week this island is packed full with beautiful scenery, salt air, historical sites, shopping, restaurants, family friendly areas.
Check out the cozy bed and breakfast hotels or opt to stay in a full service resort.
Located 1 hour and 20 minutes south of Savannah exit the I95 in Brunswick and follow directions to the Golden Isles.

A few cool mornings and look what showed up @Kroger in ❤️ Rincon
Bring the bug spray, a camera and good walking shoes to take a break from all the noise. I have visited this trail at 2 separate locations and both offer a real treat to see nature combined with American history from the 1800’s.
Take note of I95 exit 94 (Savannah-Pembroke Hwy 204) in Georgia. You will not see any signs for the trail, exit going toward Pembroke and drive about 3 miles and you will see the parking area on the left.
Plan to take this walk only during daylight ……Watch for snakes both on the ground and in the trees above….
