It’s Parade time-Saturday November 18th

Join in on all the fun, it’s time for the Rincon Noon Lions Club with the City of Rincon for the annual Christmas parade.  Posted photos are from 2015 and this year is sure to bring smiles again.

The parade starts at Macomber Park at 10am.  The route follows on Lexington Ave, past Rincon Elementary on 4th St and turning onto Hwy 21 in downtown Rincon.  The weather forecast shows mostly sunny and a high of 75′ on Saturday.  Santa is going be a little stuffy in his North Pole suit.

Make plans to attend the Veterans Day Program on 11/11/2017 at 11:00am, planned by the Effingham Veterans Park Board, and featuring guest speaker LTC Glyn C. Goldwire. Program will be held at Effingham’s Veterans Park, at West 1st Street in Springfield. (In case of rain the program will be moved to the Board of Education’s auditorium located at 306 N. Ash Street, Springfield Ga.

I 95 travelers can visit this historic blackwater creek by exiting at Ga exit 109.  Take Hwy 21 north past Rincon to Ga hwy 275 (about 5 miles) follow to Ebenezer.
